The Half Moon Cabin offers a unique retreat with its rustic charm and cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for solo travelers seeking some quiet time away. The cabin's layout provides a certain intimacy that draws you in, setting the stage for a peaceful stay.
The bath in the Half Moon Cabin, while a nice feature, proved difficult to enjoy due to its slippery surface—definitely needs a slipmat for safety. The shower kept fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold, making it a challenge to rinse off properly. the cabin's wifi connection was inconsistent, not holding up to expectations compared to the main house, which was frustrating at times. The TV also had issues with reception, cutting out frequently, making it tough to unwind with a good movie. I had hoped to use the pool, but it wasn't warm enough for a comfortable swim during my stay.

We had a lovely time here. the pool and hot tub were great for unwinding, and the cozy accommodation had everything we needed. Relaxing by the well-kept garden area and enjoying breakfast was awesome. Just wish the outdoor pool furniture had a bit more care, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! 🌟

Spent a long weekend in a lovely room with a cozy bed and a fabulous breakfast that made every morning special. The new pool was a delightful surprise, adding a relaxing touch to our stay. Though the room's decor wasn't as fresh as the photos suggested, the ambiance made up for it. I'd definitely stay here again!

We had such a lovely time here, especially enjoying the beautiful hot tub and the well-kept lawn area. The outdoor pool and sun loungers were perfect for soaking up the sun and relaxing after our adventures. One little downside was that the balcony could have used a good clean, but overall, it didn’t ruin our stay. 🌞

The building's grandeur is delightful! Our spacious room had a lovely bathroom with a fancy rain shower. Plus, the parking is a dream—just not the décor, which has seen better days.
If the wallpaper could talk, it would probably complain about the state it's in! I might have left my dignity with the decor dated to the last century.

Cedar House had a charming vibe that made us feel like we were welcomed home. The atmosphere was cozy, thanks to the unique art and decor throughout. The staff were super friendly, which made a good impression from the start. Breakfast was another highlight. so many great choices, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We loved spending time in the garden for some quiet relaxation. the property does show signs of age. Our room had a slight damp smell, and the shower was a bit concerning due to the presence of black mold. It felt like the place could benefit from a little more attention in terms of maintenance and cleanliness in certain areas. The nearby pub offered great meals, which is convenient, but the overall room condition could easily be enhanced with some minor updates. Despite those flaws, it served as a wonderful base for exploring attractions like Hengistbury Head, making it a good spot for those seeking a unique stay.

The room was spacious and comfy, with a great view of the gardens, although it looked a bit more dated than the photos showed. I'd definitely come back again for another relaxing escape.

The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the character of the Half Moon Cabin added charm to our stay. The breakfast served each morning was brilliant, showcasing a delightful range of cold dishes. the lack of attention to detail in the room's cleanliness was disappointing, and some amenities felt outdated. While the owners were welcoming, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to these issues.

Charming ambiance and delicious breakfast
My stay in the Pavilion Suite was delightful, especially enjoying the generous breakfast options, which included freshly baked pastries and a wide variety of fruits. The grand but cozy atmosphere of the room made it feel like a home away from home. I particularly loved the beautiful gardens that were perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the local area. a little touch-up and maintenance in some areas could elevate the experience further.
